1946 Tonner tow truck

I went to our local monthly Cruise In. There was a Neat 1946 tonner. I left the Cruise In but circled back to look at this tow truck. It is real patina, not fake.

He bought it in Manitoba. The front plate says "one ton". "One Ton" is also attached to the sides of the hood. Was that the law in Canada or just the province of Manitoba?

Thought you 47 and older guys will enjoy it.

The One Ton badges were on all the Canadian Tonners, even the Mercurys had them.
