Wow! I too, now, am curious about those. Not curious enough to consider spending that kind of dough ,mind you, but curious as to what kind of mind could contemplate 1300.00 for a set of hinges. I’m guessing this lot here mostly feels the same, but you never know. Won’t you be the first? Enquiring minds want to know!

It's not completely out of the question. I'd like to know a little bit more about them.
The factory hinges are ridiculously sloppy so the hood can never be aligned with any kind of precision. High end body/paint is a waste when the hood closes in a different spot every time its shut. These hinges are popular on high end builds because they allow you to dial in the panel gaps and flushness accurately and repeatably. The price is a bargain compared to taking your stock hinges to a machine shop and having them rebuilt to be as tight and smooth as these are. I have rebuilt a set of '66 F100 hinges so that each joint only had .001-.002" clearance with zero side play and its very time consuming. Having an off the shelf option is great to speed up the build process and save money compared to paying a machine shop, if you could even find one willing to rebuild them to very tight tolerances.
