2003 F150 King Ranch issues
My first post here and I need "help".
Got my hands on a 2003 F150 5,4 petrol King Ranch, with some issues coming with it.
ABS light on and because of that not possible to pass MOT. It was not possible to connect to the ABS thru the OBD socket so I started the old fashioned way to check the sensors from the ABS module connector. After having removed the aircleaner I got down to the ABS ecu. To the left (towards inner wing) I saw a pair of loom connectors that had been previously repaired. A couple of wires looked very corroded and atleast one was broken. I repaired the broken one, red/pink, that I later found out goes to the rear axle ABS sensor. The ABS light now went out as it should a couple of seconds after ignition was turned on. Sucess!!!
That didnt last long. Now the parking lights had died. Looked at the rotten wires again, and now after having touched it a couple of times, several wires are broken, and now the engine dont start. I have been looking for a wiring diagram for my car a couple of days now, but I cant find any. CLosest I found here is for Excursion, super duty F250 and so on, and all dont apply to my car.
Another thing: Where is the Central Junction Box located? I have found the passenger compartment fuse box in front of my left knee sitting in the drivers seat, and the Power Distribution Box in the engine bay, but none of them apply to the CJB as refered to in the wiring diagram.
I have contacted several of workshops here in Sweden but no one are willing to help me getting a wiring diagram. Best advice was Buy a Haynes manual.
