Massive oil leak whense parked after running

I took the turbo off my 2000 F250 7.3 powerstroke, 193k miles, cause I’ve been having the issue of having massive oil leaks, and there was about an inch in the valley of the block towards the back. So I took the turbo off the pedestal and found what looks to be bad O-rings? not sure if that could cause massive amount of oil loss after when it’s parked and driving. I attached a picture of the rings and turbo below.

Well, now that you’ve got the turbo off, you can replace the upper and lower o-rings. You started at the hardest item that could leak, so it is all downhill from here on out to find your leak!👍 Good luck luck!

Yep ^

I coulda swore my turbo/pedestal orings were leaking and it ended up being an oil rail plug on top of the passenger side bank that lost an oring so I’d look at those while your into it. Hope this helps good luck,

Andrew

The passenger side HPOP hose fitting on the head is a prime suspect as well. The oil will ooze out of the fitting or o-ring seal, run down to the plenum top edge, run back to the rear of the engine, down the vertical edge of the plenum and down to the drain. This throws a lot of people off, including me because the front of the valley is dry, so we look over the leak possibilities toward the front.

What brand of pedestal is that? There ain't a whole lot of meat on the turbo mounting surface to keep the turbo from rocking side to side (it's under quite a bit of force from the exhaust downpipe).
