Programming a second key
I've found conflicting information after searching the forum.
Here's my situation. I have one key for my Ex.
Is there a way I can program a second key using some procedure, software, etc? Or, are my only options a locksmith or dealership.

Forscan can do it if you want DIY, otherwise any locksmith can.
I called a mobile locksmith, dude came to my driveway, cut and programed me two new keys for $40 (this was before I even knew Forscan existed). For the cost, I'd probably just call the mobile locksmith again because even if you can program keys, you most likely can't cut them too.

a year ago, the locksmith charged me $75 to program one key, and then he said:
"now that you have two keys, you can program as many as you like, as long as, they are a PATS key"
just follow the steps in the manual, IIRC,
