Go ahead and test that china stuff with no name filters for the rest of us. Let us know how it works.
Do Not get your truck parts of cramazon, fleabay, and almost every internet place out there to use on a $10,000-ish engine. The corner store for parts is sketchy most of the time as well.

Pretty much nailed it. Cheap brass hand crimps, leaky China valves, and no name filters. Better off to just skip it if you aren’t able to afford a quality part.
The voltage is way too high for my application anyway. 420 volts!😂 Also, it MAY filter out particulates. WTH, I would want it to definitely filter the particulates. China fail once again. PLEASE SUPPORT THE USA, 🇺🇸, not the SOB’s that want to annihilate us!
I got lots of parts on my truck off Amazon ebay and random internet sites. lol just got to use your common sense on what your buying. I would never run that coolant filter setup though. Looks very cheaply made.
Its the same parts as riffraff, but cheaper. I have the riffraff, and i like it. Dont regret getting it. If i had seen this if have been tempted to try it. I would not trust those filters to last long, but then, you need to run and chuck the first couple filters, anyway, and then go donaldson. Before you got this, or the riffraff kit, which are both low pressure bypass systems, and will add clutter near you drivers battery. Dont forget that the (less popular now) option exists to change your water pump to an alliant for the t444e, prices range from just over 200, to just under 500, depending on where you get one, but that pump has a changable filter housing built onto it.
The parts may look the same but there are not even remotely close to the quality of parts you will get from say a riff raff kit. Hose. Hose ends. Valves. It will all be night and day difference quality. The lot he linked isn't even for a 7.3. It's a kit for a 6.4 truck.
Unless you are running green coolant I'd skip the filter.
To each their own, having a coolant filter is another form of insurance, does it need to be installed? Who knows, my budget allowed me to add Clay's (RiffRaff) coolant filter to my belived truck. Just like buying yer dog a chew toy, it is nice to have but no one can tell me it is not needed as no one here is a scientist to that level.
To the OP, if all your truck is worth to you is a 3rd party Chinamart part, go for it, but if you want to make your rig last forever, stay with quality products as they have been proven to last. @Tpayne621 I too have purchased select parts from reputable vendors, after deep research and investigation, from the various online sellers, and I have been pleased. But if people do not do their research, they are more likely to get burned, so I am with you.
Yesterday I bought a a high dollar part frpartn eBay seller that I could not get locally, an hour or so of research h determined the seller was actually a Ford Parts Dept out of PA, and they responded to me Saturday evening, so not all eBay sellers are scammers, people just have to spend the time researching

Support American made, American business and stop supporting China. Its simple...you get what you pay both with the product and else where in life.
