IPR's setup. Full flow, never buy another filter. Best option for a coolant filter IMO
I realize lots and lots of people swear by this setup, but hasn't there been issues with hoses and clamp quality? Not everyone has experienced the problems (or they don't know it). Or was it the intake manifold? Hmmmm, I'll see if I can find the thread.
EDIT: Here's what I was thinking of. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-feedback.html

first i've heard of those issues. I've had mine in for about 13k miles now and no leaks. It's pulled some crap out of my cooling system for sure, just rinse it out and replace.
A while back, someone was good enough to post this list. I saved it off.
This is a list of part numbers for the spin on filter used by most (pretty much all) of the aftermarket coolant filter systems and none of these contain a SCA.
I use Wix filters. If you are going to get a coolant filtration system, make sure you get one with dual isolation valves so you don't leak coolant all over the place when you change filters.
Please let me know what you think of this setup when you receive it. Wish it had black hoses so it would look more like stock.
Thanks,
Rick L.
I'm a fan of XDP in general and their coolant filter specifically, which was one of the best deals going for quite a while (remember to use discount code DIESEL10 at checkout for 10% FTE discount). However there are now a lot of knock-offs out on eBay...
Then there's the all-silicone Mishimoto unit, which I do believe you can get in colors (like black). Look around, just make sure you get one with those ball valves on the in/out of the base and that it comes with a good mount that fits our 6.0s...
