BFG used to be a default go-to tire brand. But I’ve found they don’t play well on heavy diesels. Looking around the internet I noticed I wasn’t the only one having issues with BFGs on heavy diesel trucks.
I’d still run BFG on my 1/2 ton and below stuff ( I actually have BFGs on my Jeep right now), but it’s Toyo or Nitto on the diesels for me.

They were always the go to for me for years. Then around 2015 or so they changed the compound they were using to make the tires and they wore out in no time. They knew this so they pulled the warranty from their tires. Around late 2016 or early 2017, they fixed the problem and now they last the 50K plus they used to.

good to know, I got a set of those soft ones for our 2012 f150 that spent half its life towing horses or hay and those tires were junk at 25k. Swore off BFG and been running duratracs since, love them but good to know BFG has come around again.
