2024 F150 Trailer Brake Controller Module
I'm going to call it a night! Best of luck and thanks much for the advice and assistance!

Update on todays service was positive and negative.
Yes that module works and I have trailer brakes in my truck now. No as in every time I start the truck I get a Trailer Brake Module Fault each time and intermittent Trailer Wiring Fault. The tech isn't sure if its a bad TRM or not as I was an open box from a different dealer. They have ordered another but not sure when it will come available.
Hope this helps in your quest.
Although it may not be the case for you, there's another blog above from "newfrank" (you may have seen it) mentioning his (or her) 2023 F150 having had a corroded wiring issue at the 7-pin plug inside the bumper. This was causing error issues that went away upon replacement of the plug, which the dealership did after other attempts to fix the errors issue didn't work.
I did read that post about corrosion I was going to take a look tomorrow after I wake up from nights. I'm skeptical about it how ever as my truck is less than a year still from build date. The dealer left it installed with a request from Ford engineering for help. They think the module may be a dude as it was an open box transfer from another dealer that is unsure why it was opened. I'll test it this weekend with my trailer and see how it goes.
Quick update. I tested it this past weekend with an actual trailer and no dice. Did not recognize there was a trailer present. When I left the dealer they told me it was throwing a "Trailer Brake Module Fault" on the screen but try anyways. After I left it also start throwing "Trailer Wiring Fault" errors. When I called them this morning for something else I mentioned that error and they thought that was interesting. Apparently as you said someone else had to have their harness replaced at the back, my dealer rep confirmed it was a common issue on the 22's.
What was interesting is as I was driving to work this morning the truck beeped about halfway through my trip and said trailer disconnected then the brake and gain controller started acting as normal. When I would squeeze the trigger it would beep and say no trailer connected, as it should when functioning properly. They are taking it for a couple days to check it out and check wiring issues as well. They also may explore the route of bringing in another TRM of same model form a dealer out west that supposedly has 1 in stock. See how things go.

I have a success story. The final part they used are both parts in the kit RL3Z-19H332-AA, the slider and the TRM module. They removed the RL3Z-19H332-B module as I guess the AA replaced it. with a different programming configuration.
If you have a 53T spec'd truck then the dealer has to follow the instructions provided. If your truck is not a 53 spec'd truck then its a different procedure. the tech had to go in and tell the system the modules are there then flash only the TRM itself on the truck. If he tries to flash the whole truck it will try to look for a minor feature code FDDAA "brake valve" which is not present on trucks not spec'd with 53T. The flash will then fail. I wasn't able to speak to the tech himself as he had gone for lunch when I arrived to pick up my truck. He followed a procedure from Ford Tech support however.
This all being said I would think that only trucks spec'd with 53T can be setup and run with owner by using FORSCAN. Given the fact the tech needed to flash a different code into the module for my truck I would think people with vehicles only spec'd with the 7 pin and tow hitch should go to your dealer.
Hope this helps.

I believe you are helping a large portion of the F150 community, assisting Ford Tech Support to pay attention to and resolve this issue!
I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Would it be possible for you to provide the name and phone number of the Ford Dealership that worked on your truck, in case the dealership I use wants to contact them on this, please? That way they could get quick advice on the method if they needed it. I would provide them the info you said and that might be enough, but they will want to get it done quickly and this would be a good option.
Thanks again!

Forgive the delay in reply, its been a busy week and a bit for me.
Towed with it the past weekend and system works great. I now have some other issues I'm not too happy with, one being the the fiberglass shocks installed on trucks without the max tow package. The sag is real even with my weight distribution hitch and my 5000 lb trailer.
The dealer is Airport Ford Lincoln in Hamilton ON. I have what they put on my invoice I can put that down see if that helps.
This is really encouraging and I'm glad I had the time to wait for guidance from fellow F150 owners (like you homerjay84, and others above in this blog) and the dealership to resolve this problem! It took a while, but it paid off! Other F150 owners without factory trailer brake controllers: don't give up if you can afford some time to resolve the problem!
Also, this highlights the power of being able to share ideas and info in a forum like "Ford Truck Enthusiasts", so kudos to FTE!
Thank you very much homerjay84, and others above, for sharing your ideas and technical information to solve this problem!
Plugin the original module. You can leave the new one screwed in.
Launch Forscan, go into the TRM (as built) and save all for your TRM backup. Exit Forscan.
Reconnect the new module
Launch Forscan, go into the TRM (as built) and load and write your backup of the original module to the new.
Clear and reload DTC errors
Go into the TRM and enable the brake controller option and write it.
Go into IPC and enable (trailer brake, trailer brake controller and trailer brake gains). Write it.
It should now work without the DTC errors.
