Excursion A/C problem
Well, if it's still under warranty you could wait to take it in or find another Ford Dealership but if the clutch is the problem there fairly easy to change. The clutch can be replaced with out removing compressor from the A/C system. First check if you getting voltage to the clutch by using a test light.

Excursion A/C problem
KPO is correct check to see if voltage to clutch. There are several switches that can keep clutch disengaged such as lo suction psi and hi discharge psi. Usually if the system is down 1-2 pounds of R-134A it is enough to kick out the lo suction switch and lo freon is not covered under warranty. To test unplug the lo psi switch located on the big freon line goining into the compressor and put a jumper wire in the plug then try the AC. If it works add one can of freon and see if the does it if not put in one more. If two does not work take it in and even if you overcharge it they will just take it back out. You can get r-134a and the charge ose at most auto parts stores and is cheap. All you do is connect hose to the same side the lo switch is on and follow instructions that come with the charge hose.
