2001 f350 crew cab

Ok so ive had this truck since 2002, im doing an search for what front and rear alxes, here's what i know so far..

Rear..12 bolts.. D1 for 3.73 ratio..tag on cover says 73 10 50L27..s409h..it 12" w x 12 1/2" h....i dont see a 60 or 70 in lower right corner sticker rapped around outer shaft area is long gone...www still dont help much to much info

Front..10bolts..3.73 rario...then all this...61 10711...1c34JA..47707..306-00...012599...12"h x 11"w...lower left has no 50 60...

What im looking to know is the front Dana60 or 50...rear sterling or dana....60 or sterling 10.5...

I'd like to get new covers for them both..

Do i trust the local ford dealer to tell me what they are???

D50 front and sterling 10.50 rear.

D50/60 fronts share same diff covers.

No. Was saying either a D50 or D60 cover will work for the front.

You need a sterling 10.5 for the rear.

You have a sterling 10.5 in the rear according to your tag numbers.

A nice looking cheap upgrade for rear diff cover is a 08 f250 rear diff cover. It's a finned aluminum cover and you can get a Dorman one for around 50 bucks. Just need a little longe bolts for it.

Good to know, i saw the dorman ones already, now with your help i can really look for them. the rear stock cover is so rusty pitted so it a must..front not so bad could just repaint it. but was thing upgrades for both. changing oil in both soon once i have new covers.
