2017 5.0 sharp ticking
Howdy. I have a 2017 f150 5.0 4x4 screw. It has developed a ticking noise when in drive around 1200rpms I do not hear it when in park. I was thinking cam phasers or piston slap but I would hear that when in park when revving to the same rpms right? I hear it the most driver side underneath. The weird thing is, this issue started only after I put a new water pump in. I also have a slight whine upon acceleration when driving which wasnt there till after the water pump. (pump was replaced cause my ******* broke off a bolt when replacing the hose to thermostat)
