Theo, I just talked to my mom and she gave up her secret recipe. Peel the turnips, cut them up in pieces, add a cut up potato to the mix, boil them until done, drain water, add butter and salt and pepper to taste, mash them like potatoes. This will be my contribution to the family dinner! Thanks for the help.
