Ac help

Hi so I recently bought a 2001 f250 v10 truck, with no ac. I live in East Texas so ac is a must. I am a bargin shopper and this morning I found the who ac kit with condenser, compressor, lines, oil. Like everything but it is for the 7.3. After reading on here it seems the v10 can be made to work in the 7.3, but what about the 7.3 working in the v10? Would it be too hard to mess with? Instead of throwing parts at it, why not take it to a shop that specializes in AC systems, and have them trouble shoot it for you.

You can pickup a complete kit for your truck for next to nothing so why bother with one that's for another truck?
This kit is about the cheapest out there but it's a start.
