2001 F250 V-10
I just bought (Ford Dealer) a used f250 4X4 with a V-10. It had 14,000 miles on it and it's slowly consuming coolant. My question is what is causing this? Also what are the O.E.M. Tires that came with this truck? The reason I ask this is the spare is a full size General But the tires on the rims are a different type of General tire and the rims show where balance weights have been moved. This picture tells me that first - what engine at 17,000 miles starts to take in coolant and two - the truck with so little miles would have different tires - this points to a disconnected speedometer (replaced worn tires). Also can someone give me the phone # to reach ford so I can confirm the O.E.M. tire issue. THANKS!
Help!

Call the dealer for the phone number.
As for the speedo vs. tires, I only have 12K miles on mine, and the tires are getting low on tread already and I'm thinking of replacing them before next summer. Guess what? I'll have around 17K miles on it when I do that.
The coolant issue is strange - I would take it right back to the dealer you bought it from and complain...
