Hello everybody. I've tried a google search and can't seem to find anything resembling my problem so figured I'd ask you all. I have a 2011 F350 XLT 6.7 4x4 super cab cab and chassis, when the AC works it blows extremely cold and will freeze you out! However, when I first start up the truck and turn the AC on the compressor clutch doesn't engage... Usually it takes driving it 8-10 miles before the clutch engages and starts the compressor, once the compressor is running it works as it should. If I shut the truck off for a few minutes and start it back up the AC works fine. If I shut it down for say an hour or more AC acts up again. Truck doesn't have automatic or dual climate control. Any thoughts on where i should be looking? I haven't hooked up any gauges yet to read pressures, I figure they've got to be pretty good for how well the system works once it's running.

Thanks for any and all info!
I think the first place I’d start is checking the AC clutch relay in the under hood fuse box, it could be starting to go bad. See page 319 of your owners manual for the location. If you don't have the owners manual, you can find it here. https://www.fordservicecontent.com/F.../11f23og4e.pdf
