Overhead Console for a 96 grey???
I really would like to get an overhead console, so i know average speed mileage ETC. since i have larger tires and would like to know mileage and its kinda col any ways havin a digi-compass, will it wire right in or plug to the factory harness? will it fit in stock locale??? please help!!!!!
i own a sign/sticker shop so i will hook you up if you help me out...

They didn't make Bronco consoles in gray - mocha only, because they were only offered in Eddie Bauers. And the Bronco console only had compass, thermometer, & map lights. For average mileage, etc., you'd have to add whatever sensors the Explorer/Mountaineer Expedition/Navigator used. Either way, you'll be custom-wiring it if you don't already have one, and pickups DON'T.

thanx for the Bronco info but it is for my shop truck a 95/96 cross breed early factory ya know with half of each year..... i want a console for that... i have seen the new 97+ comsoles for cheap but dont know if it will fit...............

Oh. I was talking about '87-96 trucks because that's the forum we're in, and you didn't mention that you were looking at later ones. You'd still be custom-wiring it, and fitting it to the contour of your roof.

-------- thanx though i was hoping that maybe the 96 had one.. since some stuff for my truck is 96 (which is only dealer sometimes) and the 95 stuff is in every parts store..................\

Hey Steve, would that fit in my 90 bronco? Im wanting a console like that to install, without all of the electronical stuff. Whenever i get my light bar and KC lights, i want an OH console like that to intall the switches into. Will it fit, i dont want the electrical stuff.

Most of that console is electronic, and they're VERY rare & expensive, so even though it's made to fit your roofline, it's not the console for you.
You'd be better off building your own, sort of like what I did. Click my signature and look thru the photo album of my Bronco. You'll see the console I made from 2 pieces of 24ga steel and some Wal-Mart duck canvas to hold my CB & scanner.
