2012 Overhead console

Now that I've said hello, the first question I have is does anyone know how to remove the overhead console on a 2012 F-250 ? I would like to tap into the wiring to power my radar detector. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for this info as well. Seems like it would be straightforward enough, but since you got the pics why not share them with the rest of us?

I've been trying to find a good way to mount my Valentine One V1 radar detector and was having a bear of a time getting the visor clip to slip up over the headliner where I wanted it. And I considered hard line powering the detector off the 12V source to the map lights in the console. I ended up hard wiring it to an upfitter switch instead, but I still wanted to pull down the overhead two-compartment console in my 2011 F250. It turns out it's really easy.

Reach up to the foward-most corners of the plastic part, nearest the windshield, and start pulling it down. It's just fiction clips in there. Then work your way toward the back, pulling it down. Takes just a couple of seconds. Easy peasy.
