ESOF issues
4x4 light in dash will not turn on, hubs will not lock, transfer case does not enter 4x4
So far I have:
-Replaced the vacuum pump (unrelated to 4x4 issue)
-Replaced axle vacuum seals when I did the hubs
-Verified that the vacuum lines are all good and was able to lock the hubs with a mighty vac.
-Checked voltage at ESOF switch and it is putting out 6.6v at 2WD, 3v at 4x4 HIGH and 1.3v at 4x4 LOW
-Pulled the transfer case electric motor and applied 12v to it and it is good and turns as it should
-Replaced 4x4 relays
Where would my next course of action be? I have read that it is likely the PCM at this point however before I am down hundreds of dollars to rebuild the PCM I would like to rule everything out.
What about the ESOF pulse vacuum solenoid?

Get rid of the silly unreliable electronics and make it a stick in the floor. That way you're not asking the truck for permission to shift into 4x4, you’re damn telling it to shift into 4x4.

But I also own a 2010 F250 that is still rocking a 273, so I ordered one of the Wildhorse manufacturing conversion kits for it.
