Anyone know where the temp sensor(s) are located in the interior? Have noticed in the last week that the A/C is blowing ice cold very aggressively, I have to crank the temp up about 10 degrees to get it to calm down and blow neutral air. It's always just been set at about 68 and never touch it but recently it will freeze everyone out.
Then again, it could be the sudden warm weather causing it to react more than expected.
Have you recently started using a sunshade in the front windshield? I've noticed that when using a sun shade it seems to think the inside of the car is super hot until I drive it a short distance and it starts to register a lower temp and settles down. When I don't use a sunshade, this has not happened, so it seems to turn the "issue" on/off. Either way, it's always settled out within first mile of driving it has seemed, so I've not been really concerned about it.
Look at the lower dash panels for a grill like opening, thats where the sensor is located. It uses air flowing through to determine the temps. Make sure it isn't blocked.

Thanks, I hope that's the location.
I've noticed mine has a wide swing. If I set it for 70º, it blows warm for a long while (to get to temp because it has been cold here) and then becomes too warm. I'll then move it 1º lower and it begins to blow cool/cold too long and it becomes uncomfortably cold.
There's no happy medium and no better on auto.
There's no dash opening under the key. The thing that's odd is that for the last year I have never touched the HVAC other than maybe to toggle the auto setting up or down, just left it at 68 and never even noticed it working. Just did its thing. Now, on a cloudy day where interior/exterior temp are pretty close, it can be 66 degrees outside and I have it set to 72 inside and it's blasting cold air. If I turn it about 9 degrees above ambient temp, it will blow neutral air. If I turn it up higher, it will blow progressively warmer like you'd expect, so not thinking it's a blend door thing. It's like the interior temp sensor is low by 8-10 degrees. Anyone know is the interior temp sensor something that can be monitored in forscan? My local dealers are such a PITA that I'd rather just look into this myself first.

In the F-150 it shows an interior temp and humidity sensor up near (left side?) the rear view mirror. Since they have basically the same interior it could be in the same location in the 23/24 SD.
Interesting. The spot in that picture, under the key/PTS button, is the best place for it because it is centered in the cab and it's away from direct sunlight. Why would they move it??
