Having lights dim at night is not a good feeling. Did you look for a rebuild kit? As Eric said, should be easy enough to do as long as it has not had a catastrophic failure. After that, I like good parts with a lifetime warranty. If you can find a good one.

Alright. I am in. I should now have more time than I have been accustomed to, so I do not want to rob myself of the opportunity to learn. I ordered a kit from those folks. I will let you guys know how it goes.
