Codes 211 and 212, '94 Bronco
If it is, look under the lower intake to see if you have the spider w/ the eight legs to hold down the dog bones used to retain the lifters
To see what the distributor gear is made out of, if you have one already and because some are hard to tell by looking, you can lightly touch an inconsequential area of the gear (not the teeth) to a grinder to see how it sparks.
Cast is usually rough and steel is usually smooth but this doesn't always hold true.
You can look for colored marks on the gear:
Yellow / orange - indicates steel
Blue / purple - indicates iron
I know I the distributor I bought and installed has an iron gear because I chose it as a precaution since I was trying to get it back on the road.
Good luck
Have fun
With prices like these, I'd be at the junkyard pulling the distributors out of a few Mustangs and getting their steel gears
Also, without looking further, you will be assuming you also have a roller cam and it is likely you do but some weren't.
Also, never know what a rebuild has it.
