Like the title says I have a question about my new 65mm BBK TB. I started to install it on my 2002 F250 6.8L V10 but it seem bigger than the plenum I am installing in on to. When I open the TB butterfly I can see the rubber gasket and plastic behind it.
When people installed it did they do any kind of port matching or did they just use it as is?
Would buying an older style metal upper intake plenum spacer and port matching it help anything?
Anyone know the part number off the 2001 metal upper intake plenum spacer? Or maybe pictures your willing to post so I can inspect the differences?
Since it's my post anyways I guess I'll ask my question here.
My idle is way off and I can't get it to level out. When I switch everything back to factory it runs fine, but the second I try starting it with the 65mm everything goes haywire. What am I doing wrong?
