Engine swap
If I take the engine outta my truck and buy the exact same engine with the same component placements and put it in and reconnect everything should it work

Yes? Or you could get a long block and swap everything over from your old engine. Do not use any wiring from the “new” engine. What are you working on and what vehicle is the donor engine from?

I have a 94 f150 with a 302 engine is from 93 f150 that I’m gonna put in no wiring changes just put in my truck should it run n

You must use the '94 engine harness, any wiring that comes with the '93 has to be removed and discarded.

[im gonna be using the harness that’s already in the 94 and reccnnect it when the motor is back in should that work

yes if you swap all the external parts from the 93 to yours .IE distributor, alternator sensors, gauge senders, exhaust parts, emission parts

I’m putting the 93 motor in the 94 so all I’d have to do is swap all the exterior parts

[swap new parts to the 93 engine. get motor in plug all the stuff back in and reconnect and should start right up
