Hello, to start, I plan to break out the owners manual this weekend but figured I could get some input around here to help.
I'm struggling with setting up the display on the dash of my 2022 F250.
On my last truck ('17 f150) I had the following set up to scroll through as I drove.
Speed
Trans Temp
Miles to empty ( I know I can find it on my Trip settings)
TPMS
On this truck I have only been able to find Oil Life and TPMS. Oil Life is useless
Any tips or tricks to getting the info I want displayed? I like to just scroll through the one screen without having to go into settings etc... while driving.
You would set them up in "My View" Pick the info you want.
I have:
Trip 1
Fuel Economy
Tire Pressure
Gage Details
Pick the ones you use the most, then you can scroll down to see your selection.

His truck is a 2022. Was My View an option then? I ask because I don't recall it on my 2022 XLT Premium. Yet it's prominent in my 2023 XLT Premium. The OP did not mention which model he has.

Not sure as this 2024 is my first F350 SD.
But yes you are 100% correct, model and trim level options would be a big help.
My 2022 F150 Lariat had My View.
Sorry guys. It's an XLT but I assume a lower package . I bought used off a private party. Had it inspected by my mechanic and it's in good shape but the display has me stumped. I don't think it has My View as I have never seen it as a menu item.
How hard could it be for Ford to code all trucks the same ?

Again, not sure of model year differences. But MyView pops right up in the cluster on my 2023.
Here's what the dash of my 22 XLT looked like as far as I remember. Transmission temp was upper right gauge. I don't think anything was configurable in the cluster. I dug this up from an online manual.
I don't see the advantage to building so many different clusters for the same truck.
Are you talking about with the iDash? If so there’s lots of advantage. It allows me to easily see information about the truck, such as regens, temps and pressures and even how well the CP4.2 is doing, and in real time. Besides that, the iDash has the ability to display up to 5 pages of info so may as well use them.
