Engine swap questions

I have recently aquired a 351M out of an automatic LTD, it is going to replace the 351M in my truck which has a NP435, now the question i have is: what all should change between the flex plate and the fly wheel? I have already switched over the motormounts. What else do i need to be concered with? I have heard the bearing that goes into the end of the crankshaft and supports the pinion out of the trans? Anything else i need to change or parts i need. Any other advice on engine installation?

Yes, you will need a pilot bearing/bushing for the crank. You also will need to swap out the 4x4 oil pan and dipstick, then plug the dipstick hole on the front cover of the car motor.

nathan thanks, i have done the oilpan too, how do i plug the dipstick hole on the front cover of the car motor. thanks again

I just use a Vaccumme cap that fits tight
