Hello, everybody....

I am new here. I just bought a used 2006 F350 diesel dually with a 6.0 liter engine. I'm trying to determine which rear end is in it so I know what my towing capacity may be. The fellow I bought it from doesn't know.

Is there any way this info can be determined from the VIN? If mot, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I may obtain this information?

There is a tag with your axle code listed on it. It may be on the sticker inside the door. Anyway here are the codes. You can find additional data in the super duty tech folder as well as in the tech folder at the top of this forum..
