Good morning, I'm looking to replace these bushings as they are dry rotted. Is this called the end link? Any ideas on a good replacement would be appreciated.
Also, I'm assuming these are pretty straight forward for disassembly meaning they should just pop off.
Thanks
Front stabilizer...but commonly called Sway bar links. The problem is the threads get all kinds of gunk on them and when you go to remove the nut, the threaded part breaks off. So be ready to source some new ones. Use brake cleaner/carb cleaner to clean the threads and use a wire brush. Then put a healthy dose of WD or PB blaster.
Another famous LMC catalog pic.....if you are replacing the end link rubber bushings, might as well go all in and change the complete set up. (Bushing wise). Also time to think about Poly instead of rubber.
