Clutch cover question

My bronco has a 351w and np435 tranny. While putting the engine in the bronc I bent up the teeth on the clutch cover. I have tried bending them back but have decided to replace it. I've been to checker and the clutch cover for the 351w they have matches up except for two things. The bolt pattern is the same but two holes are missing on the replacement part. I would have bought it and drilled my own holes but I also noticed the teeth are thicker than on the original. Are clutch covers for my setup only available through bronco specialty stores? are the clutch covers sold through these places the ones i need? Is the clutch I looked at at checker the correct replacement? HELP. thanks in advance.

There are a couple of different bolt patterns available between flywheels and pressure plates. I think that it depends on the year of the flywheel. What application are you using? If you are still using a Bronco 302 flywheel, then you can go with a stock application. Or you might try a later model (such as an 88 351) that used a diaphragm type pressure plate.

I would recommend going with a complete clutch kit. It will save time and money in the long run.
