97’ power mods tips/tricks

Hey guys, so recently ordered some parts from Full Force and am looking for any heads up/tips/tricks to make these installs go smoothly. I got their 160/100s about two years ago and finally got around to getting their T4 kit with the 364.5 turbo, adrenaline hpop, Irate Efuel, hpop lines, uvch’s and pigtails for them and injector harnesses. Mine were pretty worn and I’m about 99.99% sure were causing my ol girl to have some problems. I also picked up an E99 intercooler to run with it. I already started on taking my stock turbo out and uppipes, I’ve got all the bolts out/loose except one of the nuts on the collector which I bet y’all could probably guess which one. Anyways my plan so far is to remove everything from back to front, turbo/uppipes then fuel bowl and then hpop and covering all holes along the way so stuff doesn’t fall in them. So any tips to getting all that out would be awesome and appreciated. Also for everyone that’s done these upgrades, in what order would you recommend install for as painless of a process as possible? And just for info sake ol Betty White is a 97 ext cab 250HD 4x2 with hydra and jellibuilt tunes, 6637 intake and a wicked wheel 2. I also am in the process of gathering the parts for a 4x4 swap and still deciding between built auto or ZF5 that’ll probably get done before winter hits in Illinois so by October/November hopefully.

I would say do the e fuel and hpop lines ones everything's out. Minimal amount of stuff in the way and then once those are done everything else goes over/around them.

Next would be the uvch wiring job.

Then turbinator and intercooler.

For sure man, yeah I was thinking working the install from front to back would probably make sense. Just gotta get these uppipe bolts off these manifolds now, which is turning out to be SUPER fun. Probably gonna get the dremel out and cut them and try to punch them out as they’re already starting to strip and round off

I ended up needing to get a new collector when I did my up pipes. Had to use a sawzall to get the old ones out. It was a battle but it was worth it. Not a fan of using the sawzall on the truck whatsoever, but I've had no other choice a few times now.

Yeah man the bolts on my collector snap when I tried to get them out even after 3+ days of PB blaster but I’m doing a T4 so that wasn’t a big deal. Now the bolts that connect the ups to the manifolds don’t want to budge so they’re gonna get cut tonight with my dremel since that’s all that’ll fit in that tight space. Hopefully all goes well. It’s been a slow process between bolts not wanting to budge, me working everyday so far and trying to find the time to plan my daughters bday with the wife so it’s been fun to say the least.

Doing anything with the up pipes is a pain. I remember having to cut mine in the same spot.
