Just purchased a 2024 Chasis Cab and had a flat bed installed. How they mounted the camera was terrible - just over the receiver hitch. After searching for a few days I opted for a 22-24 Ford Maverick Tailgate Logo with included camera off Ebay and it plugged into the factory camera wiring, so just a plug and play after I made a template for the camera and drilled two mount holes as well.
I like it.
That looks great. I did the exact same thing on my 2013 super duty except I was able to remove the emblem out of the tail gate. I removed the center running light and mounted it a little higher than you did.

Wish I would have known the fords all used the same plug behind the emblems. I would have went the route you did. Good info for next time.
