Help with starting issues.

So I have a 83' f150 with a 300i6 that I have been through 3 flex plate and starters. I changed transmissions to a c6 from a aod but still doing the same thing. I am absolutely stumped. The starter continues to eat the teeth off of the flex plate and I am about at my wits end. Ready to sell this super clean truck for super cheap. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO HELP ME OUT.

Do you have the block plate installed?
