Earthquake in nyc

Working on the truck and we just had a pretty good size earth quake.

glad the truck wasn’t up on jacks with me under it.

Said it was centered under NJ.

Nah I'm good... I'll stick with our cold weather and blizzards with lake effect snow... And let the other places have the earthquakes, volcanos, tornados, hurricanes, major floods and landslides...

Yeah, I don't need the earth actively trying to kill me. Doesn't sound like it impacted much thankfully. Hope Boston never has one of any significance.... 1/2 the city is sitting on fill it would be like firing up a blender.

I was at a hotel in Newark traveling with work and if felt like a very sizable earthquake. Thought the building was about to come down on me. lol

Someone told me its because all the illegals are adding more weight to the island and causing the earth to shift. Needless to say I did LMAO.

Believe me, we felt it in central jersey, epicenter was about 30 miles from us. I checked my garage camera, the car on jack stands on the lift didn't move but you could see a bottle of windshield washer fluid and it swished back and forth a few times. Wife said she could see the water moving back and forth under the pool cover.

There was a 5.8 earthquake in Mineral Va in 2011. At that time I was living about 30 miles away. Estimated to be 5.0 by the time it reached me. It damaged the Washington Monument about 70 miles away.
