I lived in Anaheim, CA for awhile and experienced some quakes.

The one that sticks out is while we were in bed. I had a california king water bed. Heck of a ride.

 

the quake in 79 felt a lot worse, mainly because it happened about 15 miles away from where i was.
the one in 93 at 3:30 am felt like a car drove into the house.
i have felt 6 of the over 30 earthquakes in NJ over the past 45 years.
there was another one at 6:01 pm yesterday, epicenter about 4 miles from the one in the AM.

 

OK, way too many possibilities come to mind!

Personally I don't turn on the TV and put on one of the alphabet channels... The wife does for local info and weather...

Most are chuckle heads, including the ones on Fox and our locals, which I don't watch Fox anymore but will catch clips of Gutfeld and Watters on YouTube and Telegram.

 

 

Well, the sky will get dark this afternoon so don't let that freak you out too!

 

it was a big nothingburger here in central Jersey.
