As you can see I have my work cut out for me! Wires coming through many holes in the firewall instead of one, wires spliced together with no insulation, etc. Also the battery never got switched to the other side when they put in the V8. I intend to clean it up and rectify that. Can anyone provide pictures of how the underhood
area looks for the V8 (besides just moving the battery). Where does the solenoid mount?
Here is a fairly original looking example, from here on FTE. It looks like it has had power brakes or something added. Maybe a vacuum reservoir for the wipers. (Canaster in lower right) And is missing the fan shroud.
Another example. Again, fairly original looking, but the wire-wrap is wrong.
