thread locker on flywheel bolts

Hey I was wondering how important is thread locker on flywheel bolts? I recently finished a flywheel and clutch change on my 351 Cleveland/M5OD combo and realized I forgot to put thread locker on the bolts. I did torque the new ARP bolts to 85 lbs. I do know the original owner who put the engine in the truck did not use thread locker and used off the shelf bolts and grinded the heads down. I ask because I am a bit of a stickler for doing things correctly and can't stand I screwed up. Disassembling the truck again would be no fun.

If the holes are blind, I would not worry about it. If the holes go all the way through the crank, I would take them out and put some type of sealer/loctite on them.

I understand the use of loctite, but I believe a tight bolt/nut does not come loose. There are some exceptions where the environment needs loctite. They don't use loctite on rod, mains, and headbolts.

Thanks. Others I have spoke to agree it should be ok. I drove the truck for 7000 miles with the previous owners set up so I think it will be fine with the arp bolts.
