April BS Thread

Welcome visitors to the monthly Mississippi Chapter BS Thread... where we mostly discuss the vagaries of our weather.
If you are a MS Ford truck (any year, vintage) owner, please say hello & especially if you are interested in having the coveted chapter membership added to your FTE status.
If you're in a neighboring state/region or just like us, please feel free to join in & post.

We love projects. We love pictures of projects. If you know of a automotive event close by that may have slipped our notice, please tell us about it.
If you're out & about in the state, say where & when & we can do IRL for a cup of coffee or cool beverage. If you need advice/info/helping hand, speak up & we'll give it a shot.

Got past April fool's with dignity intact.

Hope all had a Blessed Easter.

80's & rain is in the forecast.

Be safe y'all.

Hey John. Hope your world thaws to the point of being able to do stuff.

I got bamboo taking over. I got stump holes swallowing my yard.

We got a week of rain scheduled.

And I'll be damn glad when the eclipse insanity is over.

Having quite a time trying to find one of them brackets for a Saginaw pump. was going to ask if there is much demand on the intake manifolds on these engines..

I like to hog the lowers out to fit 5.0 uppers to make a poor man's GT-40 intake. They go for about $25 each (upper or lower) at our pull-a-part.

Any after-market intake combo for a 5.8 is pretty pricey & the stock lower in a truck has tiny ports.

No 90s' vans handy? We might find one here for you.

Glad to hear. You will love it. We can send you some rain if you can use it. I got over an inch in 10 minutes.

That's great John. Squeal free PS in the works.

Think I may have beach front property when this red/orange monster gets here in a hour or so.

Hello David, I cleaned up that transmission separator plate and sprayed epoxy on it. That gasket was in shreds. Found a picture you posted in an old thread and was looking on Amazon and wondered if you think this would be good enough to work
