swapped engine won't crank

Me and my dad swapped engines in a 92 f150 from the original 302 to I believe a 94 302 but we have not been able to get to crank

What do you mean by won't crank?
Does the starter engage and rotate the engine or does nothing at all happen when the key is turned?
Or does the motor turn over but not start?

What other parts were changed while the swap was taking place?
Was the newer motor bolted to the '92 transmission? If so did that go together easily or were there struggles?
Was the new motor complete and dropped in as it was?
You should have used the '92 engine harness and not touched any of the chassis wiring or the PCM.

It does turn over. It is getting spark and fuel. Original Engine wiring harness was used on this engine

OK, was the distributor removed at any point? If so was the motor set to cylinder #1 on TDC of the compression stroke when it was reinstalled?

Yes it come from the original motor and I believe cylinder 1 was where it needed to be. I wasn't there when my dad changed the distributor

OK then double check that, for completeness cyl #1 is passenger side front and you should feel air being pushed out of the spark plug hole when that piston is coming up on the compression stroke. I mention that because the balancer timing marks also line up on TDC of the exhaust stroke.

Does it fire with starting fluid? If so then it's possible there isn't enough fuel pressure. There needs to be a minimum of 30psi at the engine for proper operation, if the vehicle has been sitting for some time it wouldn't be unusual for the fuel pump to be inoperable. There is a shrader valve on the fuel rail drivers side where a pressure gauge can be attached, if you don't have one parts stores often have a tool rental program.

If it will not start with fluid assist and you have stated you have spark, you really need to verify the distributor was set with Cylinder #1 on the compression stroke. Trust me,setting it on the exhaust stroke happens a LOT.
