Need Help Addressing Problems
My father has a 2008 F150 XLT Single Cab. It has the 5.4 with 153,XXX miles. He purchased it in 2010 with 20,XXX miles
He has left it with me to go over it and fix any issues that it currently has. I have diagnosed about 7 different things (Mechanical, Electrical, Body, etc.) and fixed all of them. However, one of them I can't figure out.
The truck has the RED BRAKE LIGHT indicator, ABS light indicator, and Tire pressure light on (I assumed that is a bad sensor because the pressure is perfect).
I JUST HAD THE CLUSTER REDONE BY CIRCUIT BOARD MEDICS, This fixed some of our other problems
I cleared all of the codes. Then got in the truck, shut the door, started the engine and then pulled the codes with my INNOVA 5410. It pulled 6 remaining codes plus emission notification:
Not ready for an emissions test
ABS
- C1266-E0 (ABS) valve relay/valve relay supply voltage fault
- B1596-20 Service Continuous Memory (DTC)s
Instrument Cluster
- B1352-60 Ignition key in circuit fault
Powertrain Control Module
- P1000-FF On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) Systems Readiness Test Not Complete
Vehicle Security Module
- B287A Tire Pressure System Fault
- B2872 Tire Pressure Sensor Fault
Afterwards, I replaced all the fuses that correlate to the ABS system, and then pulled the ABS plug and checked Voltage (12.04V) and Resistance (1.2 Ohms), and visually checked the pins to make sure they look clean and normal.
The truck runs and drives great, but feel like the ABS module is bad. I am stumped.
As of this moment, the current physical issues are:
- Red Brake Light Indicator
- Yellow ABS Light
- Yellow TPMS Light
- A/C Compressor Short Cycling (local shop is going to extract coolant and recharge)
Any idea whats going on?
