Carb Cleaner Smell
A friend of mine picked up a truck that has the old carburator cleaner smell in the cab.
I told him I would ask on here to see if anyone was familiar with this smell and how to rid it.

Might be a sensitive nose and some material off gassing? My wife smells stuff I never notice? We both smelled that rotted pepper though.
We sold a product at Advance Auto, was "Ozeum", it killed the effects of that pepper, and I have used it other wise too.

Any old cans under the seat, any thing weird under or behind the seat? Make sure it is NOT a carb/exhaust leak and getting in the cab. Does the truck have a/c by chance? In the mean time take some charcoal brickets (none Match light ones, that smell like lighter fluid) and put 4 or 5 in a plastic bowl and stick it behind the seat or on the floor board. They will suck up the smell. Also put a box of backing soda in it.
