6.0 icp issues
I do have forscan and a ford 6.0 laptop but this was readily available
It’s a 2004 6.0 with some special high idle **** and when plugging icp in I get a cylinder 1 contribution code and like 5 codes for the throttle position sensor and a map code. When plugged in obviously no skinny pedal idle is a bit smoother but still has a issue for sure in cylinder 1. Has anyone ever run across this? Think the harness has a short? I’m not sure about what all could be happening but previous icp plugged in it would just die, and no other codes new one it doesn’t die but can’t go anywhere high idle and the **** don’t work. Give me a suggestion I’ll look through some wiring diagrams and trace the bs job they did see if anything’s not worthy.
and yes unplugging it makes everything work just idles lower and a bit rougher.
The easiest thing to do is to unplug the EBP sensor, clear codes, and drive it. See how it drives and if any of the codes come back.
We can offer more after you try the easy stuff.
So when icp is unplugged is it pretty gutless never had icp issue. Is the circuit low or out of range just wiring? Is there icp pressure high/pressure low codes or just circuit high/circuit low? Wouldn’t ipr communicate pressure like a pressure demand to throttle position 3 code deal. Because my duramax threw 4 different codes to tell me it’s just a pressure sensor.
