Hello all! I just figured I would ask on here before doing anything else. I just noticed my trucks front bumper yesterday is covered in small rust bubbles. Has anybody else seen this and dealt with this?
Overall the truck is in great shape, that’s why I never looked as close to the bumper.
Any help would be appreciated. Ladbak1
Yep, common issue with painted metal bumpers; both my son's F150's are rusted. .....which is why I have chrome. You need to get it replaced or blasted and repainted and then I would recommend getting it covered in PPF as it's small stone chips that start the rusting process.

Yep, I also always opt for chrome bumpers when possible. Looks more generic and "grandpa" maybe, but I don't worry much about chips.
My 07 F150 and my 17 F150 both had painted bumped and while they look good, never again. So glad my 19 Superduty has chrome, simply because how much better they handle bugs, salt, sand, gravel, etc.
