I've got ranch hand legends on my other trucks. Am considering peacemaker elevation. Seems elevation is built more on looks than functional purpose. Can anyone give input. Be put on this truck
Ranch Hand Legend on my '21. I bought it used, it was on a '19 and already had rust in every weld seam, the mesh, and the inside in front of the wheels. I had it blasted and Line-X'd and it looks better than new. I had a Ranch Hand on my '14 F150 as well and loved it.
My brother (truck is in the background but I don't have any pictures showing the front) has a Road Armor Vaquero on his. I actually think his was a better deal. The design is very similar. Both have a 2" receiver. His doesn't have diamond plate, which might be a negative to some people, and the tubing around the headlights is a smaller diameter. Road Armor has 50% off deals all the time, so you can get a bumper for like $1100 shipped, which is what I paid for mine used.
Another RanchHand here. Sport series. Quality is decent.
Just needs the winch installed. I looked at the Peacemaker and wasn't a fan of the pipe front.
The Evolution series looks good if you want to go with Peacemaker this time around.
Took another picture to get the comparison. Ranch Hand Legend and Road Armor Vaquero. Pretty similar.
Do both Ranch Hand and Road Armor give clear visibility of the front turn signals? It looks like some of the other bumpers have a bar that obstructs the turn signals. This is more important for 2021 XLs where Ford took away the signals on the mirrors.
I run the tough country evolution. Just a plated bumper, but much lighter than usual pipe bumpers. The roads at the ranch are very rough and those bumpers are so heavy they destroy the front end

They both have a bar that runs in front of the turn signal, but the bar is a lot smaller than the turn signal. The Road Armor bars are also thinner than the Ranch Hand. Both the trucks pictured are '21 XLs, so I also took this into consideration.

The bar doesn’t block the turn signals at all you can see it blinking just as good as one without a bumper.
Another vote for Steelcraft. I like the fact the front bumper doesn’t stick out far on the sides and the smooth metal finish.
I see you powder coated your Steelcraft bumper. I just dropped mine off to get coated as well. Here is the question. Did you powder coat the mounting brackets? Why? Can you see the mounting brackets/hardware when the bumper is installed.
I told them to coat the brackets, but now that I’m thinking of it, the black coating that comes on it would be better to have for the nuts/bolts. I believe the powder coat would crack when you tighten the bolts down. Thoughts? Experiences?
