And here's a troubleshooting guide that may help, too:

Pay close attention to the wiring diagrams in the first link. IIRC, the grounds for the rear lights are different with the flareside bed. If the bed is not well grounded, this can affect those lights.
You may want to look into that as lifting or lowering any of our trucks is not easy with the TIB / TTB front suspension.
You might be able to use a 4x4 lift kit for a 4x4 150 as the front suspension brackets should be the same between the 100 / 150 trucks.
You will need the drop brackets for the radius arms and beam pivot.
Only good thing is the 85 has ball joints so you can get the parts needed to adjust the suspension back to spec.
You did not say what motor, transmission and rear type & gear ratio the truck has as that may not work good with the 33" tires.
Also with the motor what wiring you may need or get rid of like if it has a 300 six.
Tail light ground dose not run to the front firewall like the style side trucks. Because of the wood bed the ground will be fun you should run a wire from the lights to the frame and up front the battery should go to the motor / frame and motor to firewall. If you have it run like that you will not have any issues.
For the letters on the tail gate you may want to look on Ebay for reflective ones to add more "see me at night" at the rear.

Evening with flash
The plate on my truck is mounted in the right place with the right bracket I dont know if our member is still making them or not look up top in the stickies.
There is also a light that was also used on different cars it is just in different colors.
After a 4 year cab off frame rebuild and some custom touches added I know (my) flare side pretty good.
BTW it looks like you are starting off with a nice truck.
