P0420, NOX Sensor? EGT?

Hello, just purchased a new to me 2018 F350 6.7 crew cab short bed truck. I come from the 6.0 world, this is my first experience with the 6.7. The truck runs great, I plugged my code scanner in to it and found a "pending code" for P0420. There is no CEL or anything to indicate a problem besides the scanner.

I referenced this thread pretty heavily which seems to indicate P0420 uses EGT11, EGT12, TCO, MAF, and IAT. I'm inclined to believe there's nothing wrong with MAF and IAT, and I'm not even sure what TCO is. But I've read about issues with EGT sensors on this truck. I was just about to place an order for two HC3Z-5J213-C EGT sensors but then I started coming across conflicting information on where the EGT numbers are, then the fact that there's NOX sensors involved also after 2017ish trucks. It got me wondering if the code description from that thread is only relevant to the pre-2015 trucks (or whenever the NOX sensors were introduced).

Similar experience, I also have a diesel chevy cruze (SCR/DPF the works) that threw a P0420 and it ended up being the downstream NOX sensor. But I don't even see a downstream NOX listed for this truck. Can anyone access the 2018 version of that thread's code description? Or any thoughts?

Thanks!

What I would do…after soaking the sensor…turn it 180 degrees ….this would put the trailing side which has a high chance of being good as the leading side.

Huh, okay I didn’t think of that. So soak it some pb-blaster to remove it without damage then turn it 180deg. Does it tighten up with a jam nut?
