Is anyone running cheap Chinese up pipes? If yes are you satisfied? I’m wondering if maybe a cheap set of bellowed up pipes is somewhere I could save a little money on my truck, thoughts and opinions appreciated.
I didn’t see a lot of info when I did a search on the topic. There is a dirt cheap set from swag performance that google or whoever recommends often to me.
Sometimes they fit, sometimes they don’t the QC is not very high so experiences can vary. The Riffraff ones are definitely more $$ but I can’t recall anyone having a figment issue with them.
I purchased a knockoff stainless steel brand. I installed them when I pulled the tranny for installing an upgraded torque converter. The installation was still a bit of work and had to jack up the motor a slight amount each side to get them aligned. They seem to be holding up good after 2 years and no visible signs of leakage. The passenger side needed a little vise crimp to match the OEM shape. The hardware is crap, which I assumed already which is why I ordered new hardware from Riff Raff to use.

Been there with the cheap ones that didnt fit
Bought Riff Raff Bellowed Uppies in the end and they fit the first time
Well I guess that settles it for me. It’s not a job I’m looking forward to doing, dont want to do it twice or fight poorly fitting parts the whole time.
I got mine from SWAG, they fit/work fine with no leaks. I haven’t driven it much since they’ve been installed but they’re ok best I can tell.
The only thing I didn’t like was, they use allen head bolts on the pipe to collector because there’s not room between the bolt hole and the pipe for flange head bolts, they work though.

The pipes I sourced from KC work fine in the handful of miles I have on them. Allen head hardware was junk though. X2 on KC's install video ^^
Did you order fasteners from someone else or just run what was in the kit and live with it? I don’t have a good nut and bolt store around here anymore.
