Ball joints

What size ball joints do I need for the lowers on my 96 f250 7.3 Dana 50 4x4? everything I look up tells me to run k8435 but the diameter is way to small what am I missing? The joints I pressed out don’t have a part number on them. TIA

I can’t remember the Dana/spicer PN off hand.

Take a look on Torque King 4x4.

I used a set of XRF. Fit well, tight, no issues.

I remember having an issue finding a set of lower Dana a few years ago, no stock anywhere at the time.

Tell the parts house you have the Heavy Duty axle
8600 GVW IIRR
The 6050 - 7000 lb. ones have the light duty axle and those are the ball joints you have

^^ Good point. I should have mentioned that…

dana 50 TTB is 4,600 lb axle. Over 8,600 gvw
dana 44 hd was 3,850 lb axle.

Thanks everyone. Went to oreileys ended up finding one listed as a 2wheel drive joint but it’s the exact same as my old one. I’m going to try to cross reference the part number to get a set of moogs or xrf.
