I am needing a Throttle Cable for my 91 F150, 5.0, EFI. The OEM Ford part is # E9TZ9A758L and I can't find it anywhere. I hate to get an After market but if so, I wish to get the best one available. Any suggestions on brand? Thanks, Jon.
If you can't find one at a dealership, rockauto is a good start. And I doubt at this time you will find a Motorcraft or factory ford cable. Your best bet is probably an aftermarket one.
I don’t know that that means. It sounds like something is wrong.
I Bought the (37?) inch cable instead of the (42?) inch one (listed for my truck) , it fits and connected everything good, but the actual cable was too long, and the pedal sat too low.
Basically I'm just saying don't be too picky, get a cable, and with maybe a little adjustment, it'll work.

I think you have the numbers reversed. It sounds like you bought a cable that was too long and then the pedal doesn’t do anything until there is tension on the cable.
