Engine oil stop leak

So my f150 with a 5.0l leaks from the rear main. About a quart every 3k miles. I have 220000 on the truck. And it runs well. Is oil stop leak worth a try? It will be expensive to fix and I don't know how many more miles are left in this engine.
any thoughts or experience. I do run high milage oil thanks

Stop leak MIGHT help or MIGHT delay the leak getting worse. Also has the potential to cause other harms.

Have you tried the "high mileage" oils, the ones that have the special additives that are supposed to "rejuvenate" seals.

i know some older Jeep guys who believe the oil works.
