not sure if I’ll finish today but unboxing to decide if I’ll start today or tomorrow

 

I've heard of the Sulastic's, but I've never researched them. I'm looking forward to your install and results.

 

Measuring height…to figure out if there is a height change.




im going to call this 48 1/4

my rear has 5” lift block

i I have a 4” I want to put in ….assuming height change is minimal from sulastic’s. Gail is to go from 5” to 4” …but don’t know what the sulastics will do

 

These are the HD version

there is a lever you throw if you are going to tow. The regular versions don’t have the lever.

these are big and heavy…not sure if this is a 2 person job. We will soon find out.

we don’t have instructions for your vehicle

just take off stock hangers and damper

and put these on.


there are a few pages about how to adjust

moving on.

 

No markings as to which is L or R

 

Plan is to use 4 jacks

2 on frame

2 on axle

 

I also have this hack which I will use to replicate leaf springs

 

there are two sizes

regular

HD


a lot of folks try to use the regular version on trucks that tow slow…they wind up breaking the sulastics…if you tow a lot you need the HD version.

Let’s see if I can breaker bar it he damper and hanger loose then use power tools
